Enhanced structure and color for Pinot noir

Lalvin RC 212 (Bourgorouge)™ is known for its ability to generate ripe berry, bright fruit and spicy characteristics and to consistently produce Pinot noir with good tannin structure.

RC 212 requires thoughtful nutrient additions to avoid potential sulfide production.

Wines fermented with RC 212 can be blended with wines fermented with Enoferm AMH™, Lalvin W15™ or Lalvin BRL97™ to achieve more complexity.

This S. cerevisiae cerevisiae strain was selected from fermentations in Burgundy, France, by the BIVB.
