Selected for its high alcoholic resistance (> 20%), excellent resistance to low and high temperatures (8-38°C), and for its strong varietal aromatic character, this strain is recommended for young and fruity red wines, as well as structured red wines. 

One of the fundamental characteristics of iYeast® Toro Nero is its capacity to ferment fructose, which is why this strain is recommended for producing red wines with a high alcohol level.

iYeast® Toro Nero is also recommended to restart stuck fermentations.
