DistilaVite® VM contains a proprietary blend of enzymes, inorganic nitrogen, organic nitrogen and trace minerals. It is recommended for the rehydration step of yeast to help accommodate high initial Brix. It can also be used during fermentation. It increases yeast budding and maintains yeasts in their rapid growth phase through more of the fermentation.
For molasse and grain fermentations: 25-50 g/hL
Please note that the optimal dosage is variable according to individual distillery production processes.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
DistilaVite® VM can be added to the propagator, to the fermenter at the start of the fill, or part way through the fermentation when yeast budding starts to decline.
DistilaVite® VM should be stored in a cool and dry area away from heat and direct sunlight for maximum stability. Shelf life is 18 months from date of manufacture if packaging is not broken.
