Description
Cleanskin-K is a 100% active, water-soluble, potassium-based cleaner for wineries. This carbonate formula uses the power of oxygen to effectively clean stainless steel and associated materials. Cleanskin-K can be used in tanks, presses, destembers, drains and other equipment to eliminate tartrate crystals. In addition, it is effective in removing the color of wine, proteins and organic soils. In addition to potassium carbonate, Cleanskin-K also contains proprietary percarbonates, a chelating agent and sequestering agents, polysurfactants and a rinse aid that leave your surfaces shiny, clean, neutral and stain free.

Usage

Cleaning is most effective when fresh or treated water is used.
Prepare an adequate volume of drinking water at a temperature between 20 and 60 ° C
(Typically 10% of the volume of the container to be cleaned) by accurately measuring the weight of Cleanskin-K. Slowly add the powder to the water, mixing until a homogeneous solution is obtained. Initially, the prepared solution will have a milky appearance but will soon be clarified. Once the solution is clarified, it is ready for use. Cleanskin-K can be used manually or with automated on-site cleaning systems (NSP). The contact time depends on the temperature and quality of the water, the amount of Cleanskin-K used and the turbulence of the contact. The average contact time is 20 minutes.
